RALEIGH—Martiney “Marty” Collier, 60, formerly of Whiteville, died Sunday, August 11, at his home in Raleigh.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 17, at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, by Rev. David Flowers. Burial will be in the Flag Patch Cemetery in Loris, SC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his brothers, Timothy Collier of Whiteville and Victor Hill of Tabor City; and sister, Viola Collins of New York.
Friends may visit the family at 705 Pinewood Drive in Whiteville.
