WHITEVILLE—Mary Rose Robinson Burris, 82, of Whiteville, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at home.
The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 11, at Saint James AME Church, 413 West Williamson Street, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Grace Brown of Harrisburg, NC; sisters, Pernell Solomon of New York, Bernice Bellamy and Bonnie Robinson of Fayetteville, NC; and brother, James Robinson of Whiteville.
