TABOR CITY, NC—Mary Retha Stanley Cokeley, 98, of 3908 Swamp Fox Highway East, Tabor City, NC, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, at her granddaughter’s home in Whiteville, NC.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 7, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Longwood, NC, by Rev. M. C. Herring.
Viewing will be Thursday at the gravesite ½ hour prior to the service.
Surviving are her children, Joseph Norris Cokeley, Frank Hayes Cokeley, and David Cokeley of Tabor City, NC, James Arthur Cokeley (Joan) of Brooklyn, NY, and Harry Lee Cokeley (Nancy) of Evergreen, NC; sisters, Catherine Robinson of Kirbyville, SC and Mildred Watson of New Jersey.
