BROOKLYN, NY—Mary Lillian Threadgill Pouncy, 83, formerly of Whiteville, died Monday, December 23, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

The funeral will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 30, at Diamond Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 1909 South Madison Street, Whiteville, by Rev. Dr. J. R. Leach, eulogist, and Rev. Ronald Alford, pastor. Burial will be in New York.

Viewing will be at the church Monday following the service.

Surviving are her daughter, Angela Freeman of Greensboro; sons, Ronald Threadgill of Brooklyn, NY and Gregory Pouncy of Bronx, NY; sisters, Ruth Floyd of Whiteville and Magdalene Leach of Fayetteville; brother, Richard Threadgill of Whiteville.
