CHARLOTTE, NC—Mary Alice White Turner, 98, formerly of Boardman, NC, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

The funeral will be 11:30 AM Saturday, July 20, at Horace Grove Baptist Church, 11001 Old Highway 74, Evergreen, NC.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.  There will be no viewing following the service.

Surviving are her daughters, Etta Turner of New York, NY, Janice McMillan of Greenbelt, MD, Carolyn Stephens of Cerro Gordo, NC, Jo Ann Henry of Charlotte, NC, and Brenda Williams of Evergreen, NC.
