WHITEVILLE—Mattie Louise Best Rose, 77, of 101 Jones Place, Whiteville, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her residence.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, July 16, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bladenboro.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Saturday following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Faricita Best of Whiteville, Natasha Stephens of Raleigh, NC, and Cybill Murray of Fairburn, GA; sons, Avery Lewis of Lumberton, NC and Cecil Stephens, Jr. of Union City, GA; sister, Lillie Best of Whiteville; brothers, Thomas Best of Whiteville and Earvin Lee Best of Jersey City, NJ.
The family will receive friends at 92 George Drive, Whiteville.
