Ms. Ada Ervin Obituary

WHITEVILLE Ms. Ada Ellen Ervin, 81, of 1515 Pinckney Street, Whiteville, died Wednesday, July 19, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, at First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Gordon Griffen. Burial will be in the Millican Cemetery. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Viewing will be at the church Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., and there will be no viewing after the service. Surviving are six daughters, Shellia M. Howell of Tarboro, Barbara J. Ervin of Whiteville, Glenda Lennon and Gwendolyn Featherson of Clarkton, Wendy T. Johnson of Washington, DC, and Margaret A. "Bunny" Ervin of Capitol Heights, MD; a son, James M. Ervin of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Margarette Haynes and Annie Shipman of Whiteville.
