BLADENBORO, NC—Nettie Van Faulkner Murphy, 81, of 15580 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro, NC, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.
She was a retired teacher from Whiteville City Schools.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church, 16920 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro, NC, by Pastor Donald Thompson. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery.
There will be no public viewing.
Surviving are her husband, Glover Murphy; son, Reginald Sellers of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Oscar Faulkner of Charlotte, NC; stepdaughters, Jettrice Smith, Drusilla Murphy, and Sarahlyn Hayes of Bladenboro, NC, and Sheena Ellis of Raleigh, NC.
