WHITEVILLE—Nickiea Cherry Brooks, 50, of 116-C Mill Stream Drive, Whiteville, died Wednesday, January 22, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
The funeral will be 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 28, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
Surviving are her daughters, Shiniece Cherry of Whiteville, Saeeda Cherry of Fair Bluff, and Monica Cherry Randall of Hallsboro; sons, Khirey Cherry of Chadbourn and Charles Little, Jr. of Whiteville; father, Sidney Hazel of Hallsboro; stepmother, Claretta Hazel of Newark, NJ; sisters, her twin, Vickie Cherry of Whiteville, Paisley Cherry of Newark, DE, Cozette Cherry and Yolanda Jones of Newark, NJ, Cindy Graham of Whiteville, and Cindy Newsome of Richmond, VA; brothers, Otis Cherry of Chadbourn, Bobby Cherry of Virginia, and Antwan Pridgen of Fayetteville.
