Nora Nichols Obituary
HALLSBORO—Nora Jacobs Nichols, 91, of 5094 Sam Potts Highway, Hallsboro, died Friday, January 3, at her home.
She was the wife of the late Vangus T. Nichols.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 8, at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Hallsboro Road South, Hallsboro, by Rev. Franklin Graham. Burial will be in the Cutler Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to and following the service. Eastern Star rites will be 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
Surviving are her sons, George Nichols of Washington, DC, Harold Nichols of Gibsonville, and Virgil Nichols of Hallsboro; sister, Geraldine Durham of Mount Olive; and nine grandchildren.
