WHITEVILLE—Perzava Lou McDonald, 73, of Whiteville, died Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Friday, October 25, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Algernon McKenzie.  Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the funeral Friday following the service. 

Surviving are her daughters, Ava Andrews of New York and Ciara McDonald of Whiteville; sisters, Adrienne Devor’e of Durham, NC and Carolyn George of Whiteville; brothers, Cecil McDonald, Russell McDonald, Calhourn McDonald, Alfred McDonald, Franklin McDonald, Mitchell McDonald, and George McDonald of Whiteville, and Jerry McDonald of New York.
