MARIETTA, GA—Rhonie Curtis Murphy, 73, formerly of Whiteville, died Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 21, at Friendship Baptist Church, 239 West Columbus Street, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor Algernon McKenzie. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.
