Richard Brown Peacock

WHITEVILLE—Richard Brown Peacock, 82, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Liberty Commons.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 27, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Dr. Charles Pridgen.  Burial, with Masonic Rites, will be in the Belvue Cemetery in Chadbourn, NC.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the headquarters Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Wynola Best Peacock; daughter, Stacie D. Peacock of Durham, NC; sons, Richard Ronald Peacock of Chesapeake, VA, Darrell Peacock of Cummings, GA, and Antonio Peacock of Chadbourn, NC; sister, Louella Thompson of Clarkton, NC.
