TABOR CITY—Robert Carnell Brown, 71, of 5580 Swamp Fox Highway East, Tabor City, died Thursday, April 23, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.
A graveside service, for immediate family only, will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, at Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery, 120 Jarvis Street, Tabor City, by Rev. Thessalonia Graham. Maximum legal attendance allowed is 45 people.
A walk-through viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Surviving are his wife, Linda S. Brown; daughters, Robbin B. Bailey (Ross) of Selma and Yolanda Lewis of Southport; son, Robert Brown, Jr. of Wilmington; stepson, Samuel Long of the home; stepdaughters, Tangela Singletary (Wendell) and Crystal Long of Tabor City; sisters, Jacqueline A. Greer Adair (Holloway) of Leland, Eleanor L. Spicer of Wilmington, Katrina B. Nixon Harris of Capitol Heights, MD, Barbara Nixon Slade (Jim) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Ramona Hines and Donna Hines of Charlotte, and Patricia Williams of Marion; brothers, Charles E. Brown of Wilmington, Kenneth R. Nixon of Greenbelt, MD, Johnny Hines (Colleen) of Clyde, Phillip Hines, Curtis Hines (Maria), and Terry Hines (Sandra) of Charlotte.
