WHITEVILLE—Robert Henry White, 91, of Whiteville, died Monday, April 27, 2026, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 5, at First Baptist Church, 505 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, NC, by Pastor Virgil Reaves. Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, and Omega Psi Phi rites will be at 5:30 PM. Viewing will be at the church Tuesday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian Smith White; sisters, Mildred Washington of Bronx, NY, Carol Edwards and Armetta Clifford of Fayetteville, NC, Georgia Mae Ray of New York, NY, and Juanita Russell of Upper Marlboro, MD; brother, Ned F. White of Fayetteville, NC.
