DURHAM, NC—Rodney Williams, 53, of Durham, NC, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his daughter’s home in Durham, NC.
He was the son of Genora Nance Williams of Durham, NC and the late Headrick Williams formerly of Chadbourn, NC.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 24, at Antioch Baptist Church, 1415 Holloway Street, Durham, NC. Viewing will be at the church Thursday one hour prior to the service and at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery in Chadbourn, NC, following the Friday viewing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Deja Rodnique Williams of the home, Ieshora Williams and Rodnora Williams of Houston, TX; sons, Domingo Williams of Durham, NC and Daiyan Williams of New York; brothers, Reggie Williams of Maryland, Lashonte Williams of Alabama, and Terry Frink.
