HALLSBORO—Ronald Joel Freeman, 62, of 109 Honey Hill Drive, Hallsboro, died Tuesday, February 11, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was the owner of Ronald’s Body Shop in Whiteville.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 16, at East Columbus High School Auditorium by Pastor Tracey Troy of Victory in Jesus Ministries. Entombment will be at the Restwell Cemetery #1 in Bolton.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and at the school Sunday one hour prior to and following the service. There will be a wake Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The New Townsend Temple Ministries, 273 Smith Lane in Bolton.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Freeman; daughters, LaShanta Moore-Waddell of Raleigh and Santeidra Bland-Cherry of Riegelwood; sons, Demeko “Meko” Freeman of Philadelphia, PA, Calvin Jones of Whiteville, and Joshua Harris (whom he reared as his son) of Whiteville; sister, Della Renee Freeman of Bolton; brothers, his twin, Donald Freeman of Bolton and James Gore of Calabash.
