WHITEVILLE—Sadie Louise Lennon, 73, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Atrium Health Pineville.

She was a retired U.S. Army veteran.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2871 Chadbourn Highway, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. David Flowers.  Burial, with military honors, will be in the Campground Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to the service, at which time the family will receive friends.

She was the daughter of the late Dora Etta Lennon and James Lennon; and is survived by a granddaughter, Aaliyah Lennon.
