\WHITEVILLE—Samuel Caulwell Rouse, 75, of 198 Frank Baldwin Road, Whiteville, died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
He was a deacon at United Pentecostal Church of Christ #2 and a veteran of the US Air Force.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, June 11, at United Pentecostal Church of Christ #2, 778 Frank Baldwin Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Armatha Floyd. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Theldene Baldwin Rouse; daughter, Rochelle Rouse of Hallsboro, NC; sons, Anthony Rouse and Samuel C. Rouse, II of Whiteville; sisters, Phyllis Ann Troy of New Jersey and Josephine Williams of Whiteville; brothers, Donald Rouse of New Jersey, Darryl Rouse of Tennessee, Willie Cato and Everett Cato of Whiteville.
Friends may visit the family at 1456 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville.
