CHADBOURN, NC—Sarah Lee George Towns, 86, of 953 West Smith Street, Chadbourn, NC, died Monday, July 26, 2021, in Chadbourn, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Roosevelt George and Mozelle Davenport George of Chadbourn, NC.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Sunday, August 1, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Pastor Virgil Reaves of First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM and Sunday one hour prior to the service.
