WHITEVILLE—Sterling Lee Lennon, 88, of 2447 Red Store Road, Whiteville, NC, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Friday, January 10, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Dr. Timothy A. Lance. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Church Cemetery #2.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. There will be no viewing Friday.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Burney Lennon; daughter, Felicia Lennon Graham of Bahama, NC; son, Sheldon Cornelius Lennon of Whiteville; sisters, Beatrice Williams and Helena Lennon of Jersey City, NJ, and Minnie Dixon of Whiteville; and brother, Edward Lennon of Durham, NC.
