LENOIR, NC—Sylvia Ann Jones Cromartie, 71, formerly of the Welches Creek Community, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC.

She was the daughter of the late John R. Jones and Katie Lennon Jones.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, at Welches Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 1733 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Anthony Q. Jones.  Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to and following the service.

Surviving are her brother, Greg Jones of Lenoir, NC; sister, Mildred Smith of Port Chester, NY.

Friends may visit the family at 1935 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville.
