WHITEVILLE, NC—Sylvia Jeanette McZeak Grant, 67, of 1860 Millpond Road, Whiteville, NC, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville.
She was a retired nurse from Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 7, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1980 Millpond Road, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor Anthony Rowell. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.
Surviving are her sons, Aubrey Shaun Grant and Patrick Ryan Coleman of Whiteville, NC, and Brandon Christopher Grant of Atlanta, GA; sister, Hilda Register of Baltimore, MD; brothers, John McZeak of Whiteville, NC and Mack McZeak of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren; and family friend who was like a daughter, Wannetta Keel of Hallsboro, NC.
