Tamara La'Shell (McKoy) Munn

WHITEVILLE, NC—Tamara La’Shell McKoy Munn, 46, of Whiteville, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 20, at Mill Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 645 Harrelsonville Road, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Corey Lyons, eulogist, and Pastor John Langley.  Burial, with military honors, will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.

Surviving are her husband, Roland Anthony Munn; daughter, Jaelynn McKoy of the home; stepdaughter, Areonna Garfield of the home; mother, Phyllis Jones McKoy of Whiteville; father, Lorenzo McKoy of Whiteville; sister, Cicely Marshburn of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Nigel McKoy of Durham, NC, Herschel McKoy of Whiteville, and Keanu Jones of Fayetteville, NC.
