WHITEVILLE—Terry Lynn Jeffries Toon, 61, of 1620 Sunset Terrace, Whiteville, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, at Peoples Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Tuesday following the service.
Surviving are her husband, Alton Toon; children, Kina Toon of Rocky Mount, NC, Jessica Toon-Smokes of Wendell, NC, Talia Toon of the home, and Alton Toon, II of Whiteville; sisters, Dyciele Jeffries of Whiteville and Vera Roseboro of Charlotte, NC; brothers, George Jeffries of Whiteville, Robert Jeffries of Washington, DC, and her twin, Jerry Jeffries of New Jersey; and five grandchildren.
