WHITEVILLE—Tillie Jones Peterkin, 74, of 1924 Tom Sessions Road, Whiteville, died Friday, April 22, 2022, at her home.
A Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, April 28, at Welches Creek Cemetery, 992 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, by Dr. Melvin Harris.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Surviving are her daughters, Juanita Harris (Melvin) of Charlotte, NC and Lolita Peterkin of Whiteville; son, Robert Peterkin (Candace) of Charlotte, NC; stepchildren, Shawnn Fields (Gilbert) of Hampton, GA, Dawnn Murray (Kenny) of Lithonia, GA, Lya Young (Julius) of Locust Grove, GA, and Johnnie Peterkin, Jr. of Tifton, GA; sisters, Odessa Long of Crumpler, NC, Lillie Singletary (Derry) of Bladenboro, NC, and Blanchie Blanks of Wilson, NC; brothers, George Jones (Irene) of Clarkton, NC and Herman Jones (Anita) of Whiteville, NC.
