WHITEVILLE—Tony Allen Shipman, 68, of 26 Henry Jones, Sr. Drive, Whiteville, NC, died Friday, July 18, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Thursday, July 24, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC.  Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the Headquarters Thursday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Jones Shipman; sons, Tony “T.J.” Shipman, Jr. of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Scotty Shipman of Jacksonville, NC; daughter, Kellie Shipman Armstrong of Knightdale, NC; brother, Ricky Shipman of Tabor City, NC.
