Obituary
CLARKTON, NC—Tyson Elwood Moore, 82, of 4045 Carver Moore Road, Clarkton, NC, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 7, at Sandy Plain Missionary Baptist Church, 903 Farmers Union Road, Clarkton, NC, by Pastor Alphonse Turner. Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Katie M. Moore; sisters, Susie V. Sumpter of Whiteville and Linda E. Moore of Clarkton, NC.
