Virginia Lee (Bell) Johnson

WHITEVILLE—Virginia Lee Bell Johnson, 83, formerly of Whiteville, died Monday, April 17, 2023, at The Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro, NC.

The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 22, at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor David Flowers.  Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.

There will be no public viewing.

She is survived by her son, Gary Bell of Durham, NC; and sister, Nancy Thomas of Washington, DC.
