HONOLULU, HI—Vonzell Ronald Chancy, 72, formerly of Council, NC, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at home in Honolulu, HI.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Sunday, June 9, at Philadelphia Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1855 Microwave Tower Road, Council, NC. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the church Sunday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Gwendolyn Chancy; sons, Adam Chancy of Dallas, TX and Aaron Chancy of Berrien Springs, MI; brother, Joseph Chancy of Wilmington, NC; sister, Annette Chancy Bradford of Huntsville, AL.
