CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD—Wearley Ray Beard, 79, of Capitol Heights, MD, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Luminis Health Anne Arundel in Annapolis, MD.
He was the husband of the late Annette Sinkler Beard, formerly of Hallsboro, NC.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, NC. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving is his daughter, Bridgette Beard.
