SELMA, NC—Wilbert Covington, 76, of 230 Day Lily Street, Selma, NC, died Monday, January 27, 2025, at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, at Peoples Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in the Saint Luke United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hamer, SC.

Viewing will be at the funeral home Monday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Linda B. Covington; daughters, Michelle Covington of Selma, NC, Juanita Cotton of Clayton, NC, Antawannette Singletary and Katina Bethea of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Emma J. Covington of Chadbourn, NC and Teresa Graham of Lumberton, NC; brothers, Walter Covington of Clarkton, NC, Thomas Covington of Whiteville, Bobby Covington of Bladenboro, NC, Elijah Covington and Terrance Covington of Chadbourn, NC.
