William Ernest Shipman, 83, president of Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville, Inc., died Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab Center in Whiteville.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 8, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery, Bladenboro, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Viewing will be at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Monday one hour prior to the service.
