TABOR CITY—Willie Lee Smith, 73, of 23 Horace Cox Road, Tabor City, died Friday, June 19, 2020, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired veteran of the U.S. Army.
A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, at Smith Family Cemetery, 473 Clyde Norris Road, Tabor City.
A walk-through viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Surviving are his sons, Willie Lee Smith, Jr. of Aynor, SC and Adrian D. Smith (Vera) of Tabor City; stepdaughter, Tonya Scott of Greensboro; sister, Terry Boone of Charlotte; brother, Oliver Stanley of Nakina.
