BLADENBORO, NC—Willie Wardell Walker, 84, of 20329 NC Highway 410, Bladenboro, NC, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his home.
He was a deacon at Center Missionary Baptist Church and former owner of Walker’s Barber Shop.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 1, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Ronald Alford. Burial will be in the Kelly Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the headquarters Thursday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Emma Johnson Walker; daughter, Stacey Looney of Greenville, NC; son, Kevin Walker of Smyrna, GA; sisters, Rozia Lloyd of Washington, DC and Alda Marion Lawson of Lorton, VA.
