If you want the best even in the middle of a pandemic, Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville is the only choice. Peoples has served our family since 1992 and we have never been disappointed in the courteous and professional services we have received.
My mother, the late Estelle Mclean Dixon did not believe there was any funeral home better than Peoples and no one could provide a better service and she was right. My brother Ryan answered the Masters call unexpectedly in August. There was never a question as to who would be providing services for him. His services went smoothly and professionally from the walk through viewing and ending with the graveside service. I went through some struggles with the life insurance company, but LaDeen was with me every step of the way assisting me in any way possible.
Peoples will continue to be my first choice for any services needed in the future.

In 2003 when my grandmother passed Ladean was notified n she traveled all way to Myrtle Beach n took Mrs Katie Powell (Ms.Katie) as everyone always called her back to whiteville. she well (staff) handle everything even sent a family car to pick my mother ( Judy Stanley)up from the beach and also returned her Ladeen (fuzzy) I can never thank you enough again

I would like to thank the staff of people's funeral home for the exceedingly wonderful work that they done for our 👑 Helen Gore Durant, on our behalf. Everyone loved how they presented our mom as well as we did. She looked liked the beautiful God fearing lady that she always was ! The limo driver she was very caring, attentive and helpful at every turn. Although, praying it want be anytime soon, we'd be more than please to use their service yet again ! The Gore/Durant family❤

LaDeen buried my great-grandmother, Doretha Fields, back in 2003. They came all the way to Leland, NC to pick us up and took us all the way to Whiteville for the service. At no time did LaDeen utter a word about being too far. She simply said, "We will take care of you; just be there." I thank God for her and her staff. The lady driver of the limo was very attentive and consoled us the entire time. Thank you Peoples Funeral Home.
